Ever since I started my gif project, I've been fielding questions from curious people: why choose gifs to do these self-portraits? Why not video or still photography?

The obvious answer is that gifs reside quite comfortably in that in-between space of not-video and not-still photography... but that doesn't really adequately answer the question. Gifs ( Read more... )
